TCPlayer

A networked media player for Windows (TCP/IP) networks

Nothing to do with websites, but a product nonetheless. I wrote this program because it seems no-one else had.

TCPlayer brings a little musical democracy to your home or office by allowing anyone on a network to to control what they listen to on a shared set of speakers.

Install the server program on the PC that has the speakers, and control it from any other PC on the network using the client program (pictured on the right). Kill the volume from the other side of the room when the phone rings, or just skip through your colleagues' lapses in musical taste, a very handy gadget indeed.
